The word Islam means voluntary “Submission” or “Surrender” to the Will of God. It derives from the root word “salam,” meaning peace.
In the Quran, God defines that the only purpose for which He created mankind is to Worship Him. Islam recognizes that humankind has free choice in whether to obey or disobey God, but ultimately we will be held accountable to God in the next life for the choices that we make in this life.
 Islam places great importance in the belief that the soul gives life to a human body. Likewise, in its absence, the human body dies and disintegrates. However, the soul is eternal and will be reunited with the body on the Day of Resurrection, when God will raise everyone to answer for their deeds on earth. Islam encourages the individual to focus on keeping the soul healthy, through the remembrance, obedience and worship of God. There should be a correct balance in strengthening the soul and not over-indulging with the pleasures of the body.
 Islam is a natural way of life that encourages one to give due attention to their relationship with God and His creation. Islam teaches that it is through the doing of good deeds and seeking the pleasure of God that souls find true happiness and peace. It is in this context that the word Islam derives from the root word “salam,” or peace.

prophets

In Islam, all the prophets were chosen by God, Who knows the best and the most righteous among people, so these prophets must have been the most righteous because they would be qualified to receive God’s revelation and they would lead people out of the darkness of paganism to the light of Islam.
In Islam all the prophets called for one doctrine which is the monotheism.  During their lives, they fought polytheism and they fought for saving humanity from the mire of paganism, the Holy Quran tells us that the prophets were sent to tell people that” there are no deities save God”.
Islam holds all the prophets in high positions and whoever attacks them verbally or in any manner would be infidel and would incur the wrath of God. The Holy Quran tells us that they were righteous and faithful servants who imparted God’s word.
Believing in prophets is among the articles of faith
Muslims can’t be Muslims unless they believe in all the prophets sent from God, they should believe in their integrity and righteousness and that they imparted God’s word in the best way.


God has supported All the Prophets and Messengers by Miracles to substantiate their true claim of Prophethood. The sound mind concludes the truthfulness of the one who claims to be a Prophet when he performs a miracle that others cannot imitate on the grounds of challenging his truthfulness. Abraham was launched into a fervid fire set ablaze and neither he nor his clothes were burnt. The Prophet Saleh brought out a camel and its offspring from a solid rock. Moses threw his staff on the ground and it turned into a frightening serpent which swallowed the ropes of the sorcerers of Pharaoh. Jesus shaped a bat out of clay and it became alive by the Will of Allah. Muhammad made the moon split into two halves each falling on either side of the mountain. These are only examples of many Miracles that they performed. May Allah raise all of their ranks and reward them greatly for the guidance they provided for us.
Allah, the Exalted, chose the choicest among the men to be Prophets and Messengers. The Wisdom of God entailed that all the Prophets and Messengers would be attributed with befitting attributes that enforce their credibility so that they may successfully convey the message from Him. Hence, all the Prophets and Messengers, before and after Prophethood, are trustworthy, truthful, intelligent, beautiful in shape, have beautiful voices, impeccable from committing blasphemy and enormous sins and small mean sins, clear from being inflicted with repelling ailments, clear from vileness, clear from stupidity, clear from lying, clear from cheating and clear from all non befitting attributes

Quran reflects real God word revelation to prophet Muhammad (PBUH) through the angel Gabriel and in its original revelation language (Arabic) without a single letter change or alterations. Ii is preserved unchanged since its revelation. It is the only book in the world that is memorized fully by heart by millions of Muslims allover the world. It is recited daily by all world Muslims five times a day during praying and is recited as on its own ritual worship. Refer to question below.
Additional information
When Muhammad encountered Gabriel, and Gabriel delivered the first words of God to Muhammad, the words being recited were unlike anything anyone had heard before. This was in fulfilment of two prophecies: Moses said: “And God will put His words in his mouth” and Jesus said: “And he will not speak from himself; but whatsoever he hears from the Father, that shall he speak”.
When Muhammad recited the words of the Qur’an – every time more were revealed to him – the people of his city, Mecca, were amazed. They had no idea how this man could speak words more beautiful than any poetry, more powerful and moving than the speech of any orator. In the Qur’an, God posed a challenge to people: “If you think this book is from anyone other than the Lord of the Universe, then make even one chapter like it”.
Recited in Arabic the Qur’an is like a beautiful melody that moves people to tears. It is an explanation of all things. It clarifies where the Jews and Christians have made mistakes in their religious beliefs. It explains with full detail the purpose of creation and what we will all encounter on the Day of Judgment. And it mentions things about the Universe, the Earth, and human biology that have only been confirmed by science in the last century.
The Qur’an is the literal Word of God – placed into Muhammad’s mouth.

angels

The existence of angels is a universally accepted doctrine in different countries and different religions. However, they are sometimes discussed under other titles, the distinction being only one of nomenclature. Similarly, the nature of angels is understood differently among the followers of different religions.
Islam speaks of angels as celestial beings of a spiritual nature who have their own entity as persons. The major role they play is the transmission of messages from God to human beings. But they are misunderstood by many, even within Islam, as having human shape or some shape and form, which in fact is an inseparable idea from that of material existence. Matter must have shape and a well defined boundary. But spirit lies beyond the five dimensions of man’s understanding. One can only believe in the existence of spirit if he is a religious person; otherwise it is beyond his reach to conceive the shape and form of spirits. Perhaps to resolve this problem and to make it easier for man to visualise angels, they are sometimes mentioned in religious books as appearing to holy people in the form of human beings

According to the Quran, for each human being two angels are appointed to record good deeds and misdeeds, as the case may be. In this way the task of the angels is to organise the most intricate and profound system of recording. It does not mean that each has a book in his hand, jotting down in it whatever he observes. In fact, angels are responsible for a very complex system of registering the effect of man’s deeds on his soul and personality so that a good man develops a healthy soul and a bad man breeds an unhealthy one.
The soul, as it is takes shape in every man till his death, needs a conscious organiser who transfers the effects of human thoughts, actions etc. to the soul. This is an intricate process not fully comprehended by man. However, we do partially witness this in the case of criminals acquiring a different visage from people of noble conduct. It is not at all impossible for anyone to observe such a difference, although it cannot be described in terms of black and white or other material terms. In fact the administration of the huge universe, right from its inception through the entire course of the billions of years of its evolutionary history, requires an enormous organisation of constant attention and control. This is performed by innumerable angels, who literally govern the vast universe and its intricate system of laws, as agents of God.

In Islam, Allah (God) is one, and one and only. He has no beginning and no End and has no partners, sons or daughters. Islam teaches that Allah was always there, somewhere in a timeless dimension. Islam teaches that Allah is the creator of everything in the heavens and the earth, everything in the heavens and the earth belongs to him and he is all powerful

 Allah is the God of everyone (Quran 1:2, 73:9, 23:51). Allah is alone and by himself, above the seven heavens none of his creation has ever seen him. The only person who came close to seeing Allah was Prophet Muhammad during his ascensions to the heavens. There is only One God, Allah, and he has no Son, Daughters, Wife, or partners (Quran   72:3, 112:1-4) and knows all in the heavens and the earth (Quran 58:7) and the secerts in peoples hearts (Quran   3:154).Allah is the first, the last, (Quran    57:3) the creator of the heavens and the earth (Quran   35:1) and the master of the day of judgement (Quran   1:4). He is also responsible for breathing some what of his spirt into every person and fashioning him in the womb (Quran15:29, 22:5, 32:9) and takes care of everyone of his creatures whether believing men/women or animal (Quran29:60) and is merifcul and forgiving (Quran15:49, 11:90 and 85:14) and tests human beings during their time on earth (Quran   21:35).
